The last year I have been spending a lot of time consuming media about machine learning. After finishing Andrew Ng's ML Class on Coursera I have been addicted to the topic. As a developer I feel empowered to learn because having a base understanding of computer science really helped me get past the first couple of hurdles. I can't say I full grasp everything but I am feeling confident enough to talk about the topic. Here is a presentation I gave at a Ziba Breakfast Club, an internal series we did to inspire new ideas, on August 10, 2016. A brief introduction into machine learning followed by a collection of my favorite applications in engineering and art.
